Re: Oil Drain Line

I think I left that in the toilet this afternoon 🚽🤔😂 Just make sure the oil gets hot before you drain it. I used it once on my old boat. Hi BBP! Didn't even think about what I was saying when I wrote the original post, too funny. So do you think this will make it easier than trying to suck it up th...

Re: Oil Drain Line

This should make changing the oil in the big block a little easier this fall! Oh I love that! I had it on my sea ray and it was such a joy to use to change oil. Did u have it installed? Did you have to pull your engine to do? Hi AJ! The rubber hose and fittings we're always on my Mercruiser clipped...

Anyone know where to buy a new O-ring for this depth finder? Mine got pinched and leaks the water out.

I never had a boat sanded, heck, this is my first boat, when the guy walked up to it with a sander with 600 on it and started dry sanding, I about had a heart attack! What the detailers do to me is part magic, part artwork!

Re: Gel Coat Revitalization

. She turned out gorgeous S33! Well worth the money (although I’m surprised he didn’t do the teak). Easy item to touch up and put the look over the top. Can’t wait to meet up when you bring her back to Erie in June! . Thanks Bud! I didn't think she'd ever shine like that again, really happy with it...

Re: Gel Coat Revitalization

Looks good! Need to get some badging back on the sides though. Looks a little naked as is. Did you attack the wood yet? Hi JT, I have new Cobalt letters, no emblem, but kind of like the naked look, who knows, might put them on this summer. Need to get after the teak though, it was oiled last year, ...

Ako, it was an expensive lesson to learn, hopefully I can save one person from doing what I did. :(

Re: Muffs

Sharing my bad fortune. If you have a Bravo drive, never use muffs like the ones in the picture on the left. Buy yourself a pair like the ones on the right! Both pair were about the same cost, except the pair on the right cost me $500 to replace and one year old impeller and several days of trying ...
