I'm digging the red accent! Beautiful boat!
Thanks! I think the small red stripe ties it all together nicely.
I too think you'll have to look long and hard to find a better looking boat than a Cobalt.

Trust me. I fretted over it for several weeks before I decided to go with it. I tried to center it vertically between the bottom stripe and the arch yet follow the lines of the arch. So compared to the stock location, its slightly higher and forward. I'm kinda OCD about things being symmetrical so ...

Changed my graphics up a bit. The one thing I did not get on our R7 was the recessed graphic. While the raised "COBALT" lettering is a classic and looks great, I didn't like how they would tend to snag on the fenders and it's almost impossible to keep the space between the raised letters s...

I understand completely. I'm fortunate in that I have a 60' x80' heated shop that I keep our toyhauler,as well as the boat, in over winter. That toyhauler needs a 14' tall door (16' walls) so the solid arch doesn't present a problem. You might want to double check on that 10' tall door. My old 242 h...

Why did you decide against the arch? I know you said you trailer your boat but the top is really very easy to remove. Some velcro straps, couple snaps, and a strap down the middle.
I understand they are pricey! Was just curious?

Here is the SS/White non-folding arch on our R7. We have not had any viewing issues with the wide base at all. Never even gave it a thought really until I read your post.

I recently traded my 2011 242 for this R7. I too debated between a R7 and a A28 but ultimately went with the R7. No regrets. It has all that I wanted with the Volvo 380 (beast of an engine!), stainless steel arch, windlass, upgraded stereo with transom remote, seagrass (far better that the carpet I ...
