Yes, it’s a Volvo Penta 5.7Gi. I don’t have the model number as it’s at my lake house. Image

Re: Need an engine 350V8

I work in the hospital system, needless to say I haven’t had much free time.

I want the least expensive motor to get my boat back up and running. I don’t really wanna pay 12k to get my boat back in the water

Need an engine 350V8

Please let me know if anyone has a lead on one close, and maybe knows of a good mechanic on Lake LBJ west of Austin. Thank you J...

Re: 226 lost all power

Could this breaker have been tripped because she was just holding the trim button up even though the the drive had already reached its to...

Re: 226 lost all power

All circuit breakers are good. Turning key gets nothing at all. Batteries are good. Is there a main fuse box?

226 lost all power

Good morning gents, last night as I was pulling my boat into my slip I was trying to trim my drive all the way up when all of a sudden the whole boat just shut off. No power, nothing. Turn the key and nothing, at all. No electricity at all. Manually opened up the engine hatch and Hooke up a battery ...

Re: SIMRAD GO5 XSE

To read actual water depth you need to attach a transducer. However, the chartplotter has maps of all the lakes built-in and has the water depth, navigation aids, fuel location, etc. I used the chartplotter to navigate and avoid shallow areas and the the water depth finder which was stock on my boa...

Re: SIMRAD GO5 XSE

Please forgive my ignorance. What does the transducer do? Can the Simrad read depths without it?
