Re: What Dumb thing did you do to your boat?
Well Couple weeks ago, was pulling the boat out of the barn. DId not notice that after I opened the door, it closed down a little. hooked up the Boat (Bimini Top fully deployed) and pulled out. got out of the truck and went inside. Came out with the wife and she is looking at the barn saying what ha...

New style Swim Platform with fold out step
Does anyone know if it is possible to retrofit one of the newer swim platforms in place of a 2005 model? I know getting one could be a trick. Or where to get one?

Re: new stereo and Amp for my 220.
Head unit often doesn't buy a lot, but a good amp (class D for efficient power off a battery) and upgraded speakers can make a big difference. The Rockford marine amps are fine, but I'd get a separate channel for each speaker if you don't already have that. I ended up going with a JL refurb M600/6 ...

Re: new stereo and Amp for my 220.
After a lengthy conversation with Crutchfield just replacing the PowerBass Amp with a Rockford. Crutchfield folks didnt think I would gain anything replacing the head unit.

new stereo and Amp for my 220.
Well, I think I need to look at replacing the entire audio system in the Boat. The stereo is a Sony MEX-M70BT and the amp is a powerbass (Junk) with CPS Remotes on Helm and stern. Currently have 6 speakers and a bass. Looking for a replacement that will last for a couple years. appreciate any sugges...

Cobalt meetup on Canyon Lake
Been seeing some Cobalt's on Canyon Lake. Not sure if the folks are here or not. If anyone is interested in getting a canyon Lake meet up going, drop me a note.

Not sure if it uses the same wire harness or not but I would imagine it does. Should work with the same remote cable. Send Crutchfield an email with both model numbers. They are good about getting answers fast.

My M70 seems to no longer want to pair with Bluetooth (I have to re pair each trip because I shut the batteries off) Wondering if there is an Upgrade that will use the existing pig tail from the M70 also support my remotes?
Thank you

New twist on an old subject - Swim Platform
I recently saw pictures of the fold down swim step swim platform. Looks nice. My Question is does anyone know if there is a similar platform available to replace the one on my 2005 220?

Ladder rung cover
I bet this has been asked, but I cant find it.
Noticed when I took the boat out last weekend, one of the covers over the ladder steps is missing. I have the two step ladder under the swim platform. Is it possible to get a replacement somewhere?

Re: Hello from Canyon Lake and our 2005 220
Take it apart and find the plastic gears inside that are stripped and maybe replace them? Where can I get new Gears? That will be where the challenge lies. We make gears all over this country and others. Just going to have to search for them. How much time do you have? Not enough I am afraid.... :-)
