Re: Home Warranty
We had a home warranty when we lived in AZ. It was about 12 years ago, but I believe we had to have it as a stipulation related to the VA loan we used to buy the house. I think it was a one time cost of $1250. It ended up working out well for us...within a couple of years we had a new water heater (...

Re: Yacht Devices Engine Gateway for 220S
I made my own and have sold a couple on here. It is just a single cable with a connector for the J1939 connection on your display, and the mating connector for the OBD diagnostic port on the engine. I think I have sole them for $125. Just enough to cover the materials and the time to solder the pins...

Re: Engine Data into GPS Unit
After doing some tinkering over the weekend (mainly getting my charger/maintainer installed and running the power to an outlet at the anchor locker), I found that they stuck the main head unit behind the passenger side dash. A fully functional unit with a display and interface (Rockford Fosgate PMX...

Re: Underwater Lights
I went with two of the Lumitec SeaBlaze X2 lights as well, but did the RGBW since we have younger kids and I thought they would enjoy it. I have been extremely happy with them. They are plenty bright to where I'm not sure I would want them any brighter. In clear water you can see the bottom to about...

Re: Engine Data on Garmin Display --- SOLUTION
Chris (cpriverwoods) bought a cable a month or so and it worked great. I bought enough to make three more, so let me know if anyone needs one, otherwise I'm out a few hundred bucks.

Re: Need part Number for Swim Platform Actuators
Did you ever figure this out? We actually use these same actuators for some items we build for Tiara yachts. I'm sure I can help.

Re: Lake of the Ozarks --- Where to Stay???
Thanks guys. Good info. I would have leaned towards staying in the main channel with a boat.
What about non-boating activities? Is any one section better than another for restaurants or things to do?

Lake of the Ozarks --- Where to Stay???
We are heading to LOTO for a mini spring break trip this year, partially to look for a place to stay longer on the water next time, when we bring the boat with us. We have three kids (13, 13, and 16). Any recommendations on the general area we should stay in? Good parts of the water and town? I'd ap...

Re: Garmin Glass Cockpit 8600…How customizable?
They are both identical displays that can both be set up for whatever you want. Nav on both, engine data on both, it doesn't matter.

Engine Data on Garmin Display --- SOLUTION
I haven't been too active on here over the last couple of years and didn't realize I wasn't signed in when I would check in occasionally. I finally signed in the other day and had a bunch of PMs because of my comments on another thread where I mentioned that I connected my Volvo engine to the Garmin...

Re: On Board Battery Charger.
I have a ProMariner ProSport 8 installed near the batteries, and ran a cable up to the bow anchor locker so it is easy to plug in when slipped. Over the winter, I leave the batteries installed, with the charger plugged in, and with a small heater in the engine compartment to keep them decently warm....

Re: Help with Volvo FWD winterizing process
So my local dealer just does 3 steps on these newer engines: With boat out of water. 1. Add fuel stabilizer 2. Hit the quick drain and let all water drain out. 3. Close quick drain and run 2 gallons of Antifreeze through engine. Done! Got a surf? He just makes sure the tanks are empty. https://phot...

Re: CS22 Stock Stereo
I looked at a 2018 CS22 before I got my 220. If yours has what I saw in the showroom, it is likely to be a PMX-5CAN inside the glove box, and a PMX-1R on the dash. That is exactly right. The PMX-5CAN is hidden between the glove box and bow storage area. You have to take out a small chunk of that wa...

Re: Cobalt/ Dealer Installed Garmin
Hello, All- I’m taking delivery of a CS22 in approximately one week. Purchased a model off the showroom floor and having some upgrades installed by the dealer, one of which is a Garmin GPS. Apparently this unit replaces the center gauge (tach, engine management data) in the three gauge cluster. I h...
