Re: Garmin connectivity to engine data

The Garmin connectivity to engine data has been a recurring issue for me as well; I posted something about it a year or so ago. I've had a couple of folks PM me (including bruceb58) over the past couple of years regarding the same. I'm a CPA not an electrician, and the info above is great and more t...

Re: Garmin connectivity to engine data

I’ve been crazy busy traveling, building things, and farming. I haven’t had time to run down and try additional recommendations. I broke down and called my dealer. It should be under warranty. I’ll update when I hear from my service folks.

Re: Garmin connectivity to engine data

The pic is a little fuzzy, but all I get is GPS tracking, GPS Speed, and Voltage ….. no depth, water temp, fuel, rpm, and other engine data. I went into the installation section and tried to auto detect …. nada. zippo. nuthin’. It does, however, show 1 engine. This is a good thing because that’s all...

Garmin connectivity to engine data

At the very of the day on Saturday and for the fist time, there was no engine, fuel, or trim data available on my Garmin. It was late, and I was putting her on the lift. I shut her down and restarted and couple of times to see see if it would correct itself, and it did not. I’m headed there on Satur...

Re: 2021 Table Rock Cobalt Regatta

Looks like a good time is happening on Table Rock this weekend. Can somebody ’splain what this is all about? I’ve never seen such. Y’all be safe. This is the photo boat. Alex is the driver and works for Cobalt for like the last 40 years or something and is one of the most badass drivers you will me...

Was it vacuum packed and placed in cold storage? For a 15 y/o boat, she looks great. Congratulations. Have fun and enjoy it.

Re: R5 Onboard Cooler

Are you talking about the smaller cooler behind the helm or the bigger cooler at the co-captain duel seat? I fill them both. Yes, some say it's a cooler. I think it's more like a wet well. I've seen sales videos from different dealers, some say it's insulated, others say it's not. Let’s say this. I...

Re: R5 Onboard Cooler

Are you talking about the smaller cooler behind the helm or the bigger cooler at the co-captain duel seat? I fill them both. On your boat, is there a noticeable difference between the two ice chests as to how fast the ice melts? Good question. Had to think about this one. I’m thinking the bigger co...

Re: R5 Onboard Cooler

On the first full day on the lake with lots of folks and drinks , I’ll throw 5 ea @ 10 lb bags and top-off the onboard ice chests in the morning. On a hot day, I’ll throw in another 2 bags late in the afternoon. As long as I don’t drain the water, I’ll have a little ice left over, and the drinks ar...
