Re: Trailer Lights
FYI- after replacing the fuse, I had a trailer alarm saying left side light had issue, sure as heck I had a short where wiring had rubbed and was broken. Pretty cool technology to tell me that.

Trailer Lights
FYI- On my 21 F150 My utility trailer had light issue, brake and turn signal working but no running lights Found a fuse bad, Slotted M Case Fuse, that's new to me. Screen Shot 2022-03-29 at 6.00.58 PM.png Of course that was after I tore lights apart and replaced a connector on my pigtail, fuse didn'...

Re: Help finding a boating destination/summer vacation.
I have not. Before we went to the Ozark's my wife looked at a town on the south end of Lake Michigan thought. We can’t remember the name of the town right now though. That is why charlevoix is perfect. Access to the big lake and small lake. Also can pull boat out and go to torch lake for the day So...

Have you thought of Charlevoix MI or Burt/Mullet lake MI? Both are supposed to be great fun I have not. Re: Cooler
I think the rtic cooler we use is a 54qt. gets pretty heavy for my wife to load
I just see a few boats carrying cooler on platform and wondered if any of you guys did that.
Not a fan of the built in coolers
Thanks

I agree not drilling platform, pretty sure it's not designed for that, just trying to be lazy loading cooler
You guys just reinforced what I think I knew
Thanks for your input

Cooler
I'm thinking about mounting a cooler on my swim platform, anyone do this and have any advice?
I've always sat cooler on floor in boat but it takes up room and I worry about messing up upholstery when loading cooler.
Thinking the hold down brackets may be an issue with the thickness of swim platform.

Re: Bimini wire lanyard
I changed out all my lanyards around 5 years ago, bought them from McMaster-Car, I just used aluminum pop rivets that I had and all is good.

Re: Mold
Yes the product contains bleach, I hear bleach can weaken threads if used at 100%, but it also works, I just made sure I rinsed with water after cleaning, then followed up with protectant

I left wet anchor line on top of a seat cushion, left some spots on vinyl that I couldn't remove with cleaner, (Spray 9), I keep on boat. Picked up a bottle of Mold Armor at Menards yesterday, sprayed it on cushion and watched spotting disappear. Made my day! 99120D56-45CE-4661-8B03-14492CA9E9AE.jpeg

Re: Lots of soot
My carbureted boat had soot, usually the worst upon startup, I would jump in and chamois off almost every time I used boat, weather permitting.
My Cobalt, fuel injected, doesn't seem to have that issue.
Both boats usually get mid grade, with an occasional tank of premium
