Re: Ughhh...I'm under-propped

I did the Bblades try and exchange but then you where purchasing them once the prop was right and tweaked.. I'm not sure now but BB may know their current program.. Only problem with cup is it can bring rpm down with no speed increases for top end but give you great cruising and holeshot.. duo props...

Re: Reproduction Merc drive decals

The ones I linked to say they use 3M laminated vinyl. I wonder.... So you're tellin' me there's a chance! :D Haha * yes there is a Chance.. I had to do my X Drives and got both years ago. The Cheep one came in first. Ok they resemble what I had. The OE came in and the Clear thick lamination was evi...

Re: Ughhh...I'm under-propped

You actually want to touch the rev limiter slightly after holding her WOT for those burst 30 seconds or so. As we discussed in the other thread for 252 and as you know in "great DA air" you could pull a 26 to 4900 but it may be luggy and be a strain with normal summer conditions and people on board....

Re: Reproduction Merc drive decals

There is a reason there big $$. Ive done both..and Ill never install eBay or aftermarket ones unless im selling the boat the day I installed them. OEM Decal kits are Laminated and are resilient to Salt water, cleaning detergents and just the plain old scum line that runs across the transom "M" decal...

Re: What upgrades have you done to your boat?

Aslan, I've been looking around for underwater LEDs and interior LEDs that sync colors. Have you seen anything along those lines during your searches? I got mine at https://www.boatpluglight.com/collections/drain-plug-led-lights/products/electra-8000-lumen-with-drain-fitting It's offset so it doesn...

Re: Top speed 252 with 502

Prop looks good in the pics.. sure every nick can cause slight lack of bite but that doesn't look bad at all. And 3 blades are slippy anyway but tend to be faster in WOT so maybe just have it checked. It does calculate to about 20% percent slippage if it a 1.5 ratio. And no worries on the turning.. ...

Re: Top speed 252 with 502

Density altitude does play a role as you are down on power there.. Your true elevation with a low barometer and low water grains has you at a 3500 feet true elevation when calculated most likely. your prop set up is good but seems to have a bit of slippage with the numbers you give. Check your outdr...
