Re: trailer compatability

I have a 2010 Cobalt 232. I would like to order a a Sport Trail trailer. I know they built a trailer for an R3 (2017, I think). Does anyone know if the hull shapes are compatible? I like the idea personally. Probably save a few hundo over a 232 trailer. Even if the chines don’t line up, and it rest...

Re: trailer compatability

I think what our friend BBP is trying to say is that trailers are generally built for specific boats. ....... And you don't question BBP. . why not...bruce does. ;) ...and good to hear from you nautis. 8-) . Who's Bruce? 😂😂😂😂🃏 I believe he posts here from time to time. If I remember correctly he se...

Re: trailer compatability

I think what our friend BBP is trying to say is that trailers are generally built for specific boats. While you may think a 232 looks a lot like an R3 in fact the dimensions of the hulls are different. I would call loadmaster and ask them to quote a trailer. They provided us several good options whe...

Re: New stereo system = new wiring?

2003 Cobalt 240. Current setup is a Sony HU, six 6.5" Sony speakers. one Rockford Fosgate M 500, 5 channel amp, and two 10" Rockford Fosgate subs. Here's what I want to do. Change out HU to a Rockford Fosgate 2.7" Digital media Receiver - PMX-5CAN with two wired remotes (one at helm,...

Box anchor isnt the right tool for the job. If you are going to do it at least use a real anchor. I would recommend a fortress. Others on the forum would agree.

Nice but what a heavy pig. That is a heavy-ass boat. She's not light.....maybe put on a bit of winter weight, I know I have gained the "Covid 19". Let's not judge.... It does list that as an "as tested" weight, so I have to believe the dry weight will be less....but yeah I am ex...

Now Now guys, this thread is about Anchors, it would be terrible if it got hijacked and we started to discuss cheese graters... I don't use a cheese grater with my cheese whiz🧀🧀😂 I was watching the food network the other day. They said that if given the choice, you should always grate a block of ch...

Re: 220s Flag Pole

Tig Tech. They were the OEM supplier to Cobalt until very recently. Made in Kansas and super high quality. Little pricy but you get what you pay for. Several people here have installed them, including us, I don't think I have ever heard a complaint. Does require you drill a hole in the boat, but I w...

Which model has the better ride A25 or R5. In rough water also. Thank you. We a long thread about it awhile back, look it up, but this is the cliff notes version. The A series boats are designed for an older crowd who eat Denny's Grand Slam Breakfast at 4:30am and are in bed by 6pm sharp. While I d...
