Re: Towing from R5 Arch with Bimini
Mine doesn't touch the Bimini with a wakeboard. It looks like it will but at wakeboard speed the nose in in the air. I have a 2019 R5 with aluminum folding tower. My question is how the hell do you tie the rope to the pole easily? I cant reach to pole when the Bimini is up (I'm 6'2"). I threw t...

Re: Instrumentation screen has power, but gauges don't read
I have a 2019 R5 and recently the blower and gauges do not come on for about 2 minutes - usually after I have pulled out of the slip. Has anyone had that issue before. The red light for the blower comes on immediately

The past. The future.
So I was reading the local monthly magazine in our lake area and on one spread there were 3 articles all together that were quite significant to me, showing boating past and boating future. When I was a kid, our big boat was a 14’ Traveler with a 40 Evinrude on the back (yes I misspelled my handle)....

Re: R6 Reveal Live on July 10th
So I don't know how I missed this because it's so directed at me 😂😂 I waited a few days before posting because you have seniority but finally I couldn’t just leave that big fat softball hanging over the plate any longer. Bob Rae I had a 2013 Regal 2300 that did 58 on the speedo and only 51.5 on my ...

Re: R6 Reveal Live on July 10th
I know there are several people on this forum who are concerned with the top end speed of our boats (and I'll get flamed for repeating this), but I don't think the R series target audience is the performance top speed market. there are plenty of boats for that already on the market place. My R3 wit...

Re: R6 Reveal Live on July 10th
I really like the profile now and the tower / bimini has less parts and is more attractive. Together it looks way better. As mentioned helm is ugly and weight is a big issue unless this is meant purely as a surf boat. I assume the change from 21 to 18 deadrise it to make better waves. It will be int...

This boat... CEB49EBD-921E-4D26-8B97-3D78B525377F.jpeg Always reminds me of this car... 83189206-ECCF-4C70-8BEC-8F090526E253.jpeg I like both although I think the boat handles better in turns. One of these boats went by me the other day a lot faster than I was going. It looked smooth and effortless ...

Re: April 2020 Pics
Ok thanks. I was wondering it there were more interesting features but I guess not. Sorry for being too lazy to crack the manual open. I downloaded it and will try out when the boat shows up. Thanks again If you are on older firmware you might have to load the latest onto a the SD card and do the u...

If you have “Active Captain” setup you can use the app on your phone to do updates. To set it up, insert a blank SD Micro card in one of the 7607 slots, create a wifi network on your 7607. While your iPhone is connected to the internet, download the Garmin app and register your Garmin 7607s and che...

Re: April 2020 Pics
Ice started to crack last Saturday afternoon (April 4), then next day - Sunday morning and Sunday night it’s was out. When it decides to go, it goes. Last one is Easter Friday sunset at 8pm. Last 2 years ice out was end of April followed by huge flooding. Now just waiting for the boat out of storage...

7D5B7ECE-566C-447A-B138-9A66FFBD8018.jpeg Ok I just did this Thursday. Calm water and about 75 degrees with about 750 miles on the 430hp. I was playing with the trim trying to find optimum. It bounced between 56 and 57.5 this day. I had the Bimini folded up which helps. The only thing left to do wa...

Re: Newbie from Lake of the Woods Ontario
I agree with AsLan7, awesome pics T14. Love the multi slip set-up. Are the bumpers solid rubber or air? Brand? My cradle is going to be tight to the slip and boat so those would be perfect for run up. Love the boat house. Thanks. The boathouse is now my new favourite place. There is a 3rd slip on t...
