Re: Trailer tires.

In case anyone is wondering, DOT regulations allow for LT tires to be used on a trailer. They also allow for P tires to be used on a trailer if you derate the load capacity by 10%. I have had nothing but bad luck with ST tires on a variety of trailer in the past, always kept them under the rated spe...

Re: R6 Impressions

Back to the original topic, sans the pool talk. I really like the design of the R6, seems very sleek. I had never heard of Puppyoo before tonight, but I'm glad I looked it up. Might have to order one of these. Hopefully they have updated the app since this review was written. www.zdnet.com/google-am...

Re: R6 Impressions

T5billion, While I appreciate your consideration, the advice is ludicrous! How can I possibly reach the bottom of a 10 ft pool with a household Dyson? Am I to lean into the pool arms fully extended? Am I supposed to fashion some sort of extension pole? What would the guests think observing??? I’d l...

Re: R6 Impressions

Also, what do you guys think about robot pool vacuums? I’ve been kicking the idea around but the good ones are super expensive! I hate doing it manually. Feel like there’s better ways to spend my time around the pool than vacuuming right? Pool vacuums are overrated. You're paying extra for the name...

Re: Let's see your Tow rigs with your boat!

Have I mentioned how much I love living somewhere it doesn't snow? 😁 . I seem to recall a snow picture you once posted t5500000 no? 🤔 Btw, what’s the weight of your 5th wheel RV? . Also what is the time to plane in that 5th wheel? What pitch hitch do you use? Any certain 5th wheel lube you recommen...

Re: Thinking of converting from Surge to EOH

Correct...if you re-read my post, that relay setup was prior to me installing EOH. One of our local lakes has a several mile downhill run, probably 5-6% grade, into the marina. I've had issues with trailers in the past dragging the brakes all that way down that hill, heating up the hub, and blowing...

I think I’m remembering your snow post from February 2019. 🤔

Ahhhh yes...that was on the way to Bartlett Lake. It didn't snow here where I live, but that wasn't very far away :o

Where's the rust on that truck? Have I mentioned how much I love living somewhere it doesn't snow? 😁 . I seem to recall a snow picture you once posted t5500000 no? 🤔 Btw, what’s the weight of your 5th wheel RV? . Maybe? We lived in Colorado for 2 years....that was plenty for me :) 5th wheel is ~980...

Re: Let's see your Tow rigs with your boat!

Finally got myself another truck! 2006 LBZ Duramax with 254k miles. Got a good deal, needed some TLC but I think it'll work just fine. The wifey's Benz was working fine, but isn't quite up to the task of pulling the 5th wheel RV we have on order 🤣 Feels good to be back in a truck! PXL_20201010_15192...

Re: Thinking of converting from Surge to EOH

The relays I added were before the EOH...that was a way to manually engage the reverse lockout on the surge brakes while not in reverse, so I could avoid dragging the brakes all the way down a hill while engine braking with the tow vehicle. Normally, with an EOH, the brakes won't be applied while e...
