Re: Lake Tahoe Cobalts
I bought a 263! Very excited, slip in the keys 😎 Would love to meet up with other Cobalt owners to talk shop on the lake! Cheers https://www.boattrader.com/boat/2001-cobalt-263-9284329/ Nice looking boat! I am talking with a few home owners up in the keys and hope to land a slip for at least part o...

Re: Arc electric wake boat
There are electric Nautique wake boats at the North end of Tahoe. Can do around an hour of wake surfing with it before you need to go back in and charge. That's about how long we go out on our friend's wakesurf boat. They have fast chargers at this dealers dock. One of those electric boats caught f...

Re: 2014 24SD: dead battery’s
Not sure about manually opening. There should be jumper connections near the battery switch you could get power to and open the hatch

Re: R6 Surf Transom Tie Downs
I looked at other trailers, they tie down towards the outside, and some have the ratchet attached to the trailer higher up, and some are putting pressure on the tabs unfortunately, see below. But ya, some geometry and a new attachment point. If the dealer sold you this trailer with the boat, I'd be ...

Re: R6 Surf Transom Tie Downs
Is there a gap between the boat and the surf gate? Seems like the only way would be to go out there to the outside of the trailer. Not ideal, I know my R7 Surf is tricky, there is a small cutout on the surf tab but unless it's on the trailer perfect it will put pressure on the surf tab. I would look...

Re: Blue led accent lights
Dang, they must have updated the lighting, mine is 2019. Are the lights you're referring to throughout the boat or?? I would be looking for fuses or loose wires, starting at that switch...

Re: Blue led accent lights
On mine, you have to press and hold the switch for a few seconds and that turns on the RGB lighting...The knob then controls the light level. That sounds important - thanks for the info! No Prob! and to clarify the knob both turns and when pressed it's a button, hold the button down. Not sure why I...

Re: Subwoofer behind captains seat not working
I would also check the head unit making sure it's not faded front/back, etc. and all channels are on, if you have platinum sound you should have 3 zones or 4 if you have tower speakers. Each zone can play different media so just double check. Also check connections at the amp.

Re: Long Time Boater - 1st Cobalt Boat
That boat looks like a lot of fun Jimmy, where do you boat? Thanks Lifelong! Hopefully she will put the "pleasure" back in pleasure boating for me. We boat either on the Southern end of Lake Huron or the Northern St. Clair River. If the wind is strong from the South it can whip the River ...

I may be interested in the sea grass, mine is gray and not sure if they made more than one gray, mine is a 2019, I’ll look at the build sheet. What do you want for it?

Re: R5 inspection
Says you are in Phoenix, even if you plan to take it to salt water, I'd buy one that hasn't seen it. That boat has 100% spent a lot of time in the salt...
