Shift/throttle control lever

So, I stumbled and fell into the shift lever. Cracked the plastic piece at the top and now shifting is a bit of a pain. I’ve searched everywhere I can think of and have been unable to find individual parts for the lever. The only thing I can find is the entire unit. Below are pics of the unit for re...

Can confirm listing to port with full load of pax. Hint--Don't ask wife to move to starboard over the cooler to help even out the list.

Re: Flooring Color Suggestions

So far so good! I installed it 9-1 and let it sit for 24 hours. We've used/abused it 3 times since and no issues with edges coming up. The only downside I can note, is the installation time. It's very easy and straight forward, however, it takes time. All in, it took me appx 4 hours. Similar to meas...

Re: Flooring Color Suggestions

We just put this (Marine Mat Toffee), I think your brown may be lighter than ours. They have a Terra color that might be closer. The product is really nice and quite a bit less than Sea Dek.

Swim Platform Measurements

Morning! Anyone close to their boat and can provide a measurement for a swim platform? Trying to order a platform cover (to protect the new marine mat while it sits on the lift and bakes) for our '12 242. My assumption, which may be wrong, is that any of the platforms with the flip down step should ...

Re: Flooring Color Suggestions

The gray carpet seems to go well with your interior. I’m with jhn in that I wouldn’t want the floor to necessarily be the first thing someone noticed. Regardless, I think black will get hot and honestly don’t think it would look very good (my opinion only). If it were mine, I’d go with Storm Gray!

Definitely not the best pictures, but do have evidence that I finished up the Marine Mat this weekend! It’s very impressive. Think we’re going to like it!

I believe this is what you’re looking for. Found on eBay. The seller is Great Lakes Skipper. They have a have a website you can search as well.

Re: Replacement ladder for 2007 232 swim platform

It doesn’t appear to retract, but I may be missing something. If not, I don’t see how it would work. I think it would stick out too far once you’ve pulled it up. Not sure it would latch properly either, but I’m sure you could find a way to secure it if that were the only hold up.

Re: Picked up a 242

Thanks guys, I appreciate it! Miller Lite and I have a date this evening with Marine Mat...we'll see if I can knock this out fairly quickly. In the last boat bought rolls of Sea Dek and cut them myself. It turned out well, but if you looked close enough you could tell it wasn't laser cut. Opted for ...

Picked up a 242

Hey all! Been awhile and wanted to pop back in. Never left, but just haven’t participated in a bit. Recently sold our 08 232 to a good friend and replaced it with a ‘12 242 WSS powered by a VP 380. The 232 had a 320, so comparatively, this one can fly! Our young boys are excited about the tower and ...

Re: SeaDek Sheet Material

Embarrassing to admit, but I forgot to take pics 🤬. Buddy and I put it down Saturday morning before we took our families out. Took about 2.5 hours front to back. Wouldn’t have taken as long with factory cut pieces. I had to make a few adjustments once we got out there. Aside from that, no issues at ...

Re: 220 upgrades

The steering wheel makes a huge difference. Can be a bit of a “B” to get off, but aside from that’s it’s a definite worthwhile upgrade. There is an eBay seller that sells it with the cobalt logo. Here’s the item # 232854463970. Regarding speakers, I went to the shop (Creative Audio)and listened to t...

Re: SeaDek Sheet Material

Jmad78 if you look at both my swim decks you'll see they are in 3 pieces. In my opinion I'd rather have the lines all run the same way. Can't wait to see your finished product. Yes, decided to go that route. Couldn’t get comfortable with the lines not all going in the same direction. Thought it wou...
