If I'm not mistaken the charger should be wired directly to the battery. I think you would be ok to leave it in any position except the 1+2 position.

Hey thanks for the follow up. I saw on your 292 it looked like you had possibly used some starboard to mount the transducer to the transom. Did you use 5200 for that? Any special prep to make that permanent?

I’ve had a similar experience but not on a boat jumping barbed wire fence when I was younger. One pant leg didn’t make it.
