used oil extractor that screws on dipstick tube. warmed up engine prior to extracting old oil. had engine running after oil change. 7 qts to much

wow, good work. wish i would have seen the post sooner. i installed clarion MW1 remotes and M608 head unit. spent a fortune but the remotes fit the holes

thanks i appreciate the info. i put 7qts before i checked the oil. ended up sucking most of a quart out sunday morning. i'll try to upload pic in the next few days. while i'm here, you guys know of anyone you would trust to color match scratches in gel coat, wet sand and polish in the midwest?

Changing oil on 2009 volvo penta 8.1 gi. Had dealer service last year, oil level high with dipstick seated, oil level correct without seating dipstick. I’ve always seated dipstick when checking oil on cars and heavy equipment, but normally there is not an inch of difference when dipstick is seated. ...
