Re: Swim platform plunger

What a proprietary pain in the ass. Honestly, I was thinking of keeping it out as Krob1114 mentioned. Seems the platform is heavy enough to keep still during trailering. If it pops up on the water, then that means it is time to bring it in! Appreciate ya'll reaching back and giving some insights! Ha...

Swim platform plunger

I found one on Gordysparts.com for $209!! but it seems to be the only place I can find one. Anyone know where else I can look? Anyone have an older Cobalt they are parting out that has one? T...

Re: Forward guide bunks

NautiWeasel,

Thank you for the method. I think I will launch the boat and upon placement back on the trailer I will see how it sits. Great idea about using a jack as well. I will bring one with me to help adjust.

Thanks everyone!

Forward guide bunks

Hey everyone, I just put my 26SD on a new LoadRite Elite trailer. If you are unfamiliar with their design, they have the standard weight bearing (2) bunks that go about 60% of the length of the boat. Then there are 2 seperate bunks that are about 30-32" and inclined upwards towards the front of...

Re: New to East Coast...Virginia

Thanks all! Seems like a great boating community to be involved in. We have a 2013 26SD with 320hp V.P so it does have the built in flush system. @stifflkd, I have not heard of Boeshield but will definitely make wise decisions over a few drinks tonight. Looking forward to hearing from all the assemb...

Whittier, AK. Our favorite destination. You could go 80+ miles out and still have some islands to explore and use for shelter when the not so perfect weather was setting in.

New to East Coast...Virginia

Hi everyone, As the subject line states, I (we) are new to the East Coast boating community. Just got a Cobalt to enjoy inner-coastal waters, lakes, and it seems a lot of bays in the area. Coming from Alaska, our biggest issue was if a whale was going to breach while fishing. :D Anyhow, I am curious...
