Re: Battery Charging Terminals - ??
nope - charges when switch is off My experience was that I had to have the battery switch on (position 1, single battery) for charging with a trickle charger connected to the jump start studs. I assume it depends on how the system is wired, but it makes sense to me that the studs wouldn't be "...

Re: Battery Charging Terminals - ??
I have some additional information regarding the use of a trickle battery charger and the jump start studs in my 2013 Cobalt 273. I have an internal battery charger, but it is not working for some reason. Instead of trying to figure out how to fix the internal charger, I hooked up a portable trickle...

Re: 273 acquisition
Welcome from Lake Tahoe, CA. I have a 2013 273, Captain Tom's previous boat, and I love it! Believe, me that double Bimini will be much appreciated on a hot sunny day. The standard single Bimini doesn't provide that much shadey space in the interior. The price you mentioned is fairly close to prices...

Re: 2019 R3 Vs 2019 R5 surf models
Hi My name is Eric, I am brand new to this site. Thank you for all of the posts. They have been very helpful. My Wife and 4 year old daughter are wondering which boat would be best for Lake Tahoe. Lake Tahoe gets pretty rough at some time most days. Is the R3 at 23'10" going to be big enough f...

Hey DLB... I didn't catch your initial post until just now. Beautiful boat! I am also in the Keys and we probably know each other, if you have been to many Board meetings. Send me a PM if you would like to touch base. Hope to see you out on the Lake in that beauty!

Re: New Member - San Francisco Bay Area
A late welcome from Lake Tahoe! I love those A5's and that was a great find. Well worth bring her all the way across the country. Believe me, you would have had to pay a lot more if you would have bought her in CA.
I hope you will be able to get up to Lake Tahoe on occasion. Enjoy!

Re: Another Cobalt on Lake Tahoe......
Welcome from another Tahoe resident! You have done an amazing job getting her ready for the Lake. She looks like new! Maybe I will see you out on the lake, but I am usually down on in the south or southwest area. Just look for my Cobalt 273 "Kristine Marie."

Re: Iphone APP for GPS / Navigation ?
I'm really liking the Vexilar/Navionics combo, and I'm sitting here wanting to pull the trigger. My only reservation is mounting the transducer. It looks like the transducer pigtail has a connector on it, and I'm reluctant to cut a hole that large in the boat. It's a 92 255 Condurre, so it's possib...

Re: Iphone APP for GPS / Navigation ?
Here is my set-up with my iPad and iPad Mini. On the Mini, I'm using the Volvo Easy Connect app. On the regular iPad, I'm using AquaMap for navigation on the lake. Both sit fine on the dash during regular cruising--unless I catch a big wake or wave. I'll figure out a more permanent solution some da...

Power Connection for Sonar Wi-Fi
I want to install a Sonar Phone Wi-Fi control box under the seat near the battery switch. The terminal connections and fuse boxes for the power trim pump and the windless are right next to the location where I want to install the control box. Can I attach the power connectors for the control box to ...
