Re: Ladder rung cover

I used this...Perfect width just need to cut length to size.
Also use some acetone to remove all the adhesive from the other pieces that fell off.

Re: First Scratch

I would be so pissed at the cop for that and ask for their station number for their insurance to fix. I understand they are there for the safety of everyone on the water and appreciate it, but they should put their own fenders out if approaching a boat in open water. I was pulled over last year for ...

Re: Washing on a lift

We had our boat on a lift year round for about 3 years before moving back over to covered storage. On the lift as most have said, end of the day hot sauce with microfiber towel wipe down and that's it. We had it hauled out once a year for service, wash and wax. Being in covered dry storage, I do the...

Re: Stereo Upgrade?

I have a semi similar set up to yours. When purchased we upgraded through the dealer from the stock system you have, by adding an amp, sub, and transom speakers. Last season I upgraded the Sony head unit to have bluetooth. The stock Sony remotes still work for control but nothing shows up on the scr...

Re: Batteries

photo, Im also located in Texas (houston/conroe) I don't winterize but keep an eye out for extended deep freezes. I keep my boat in un-climatized enclosed storage at out marina for the past few years but before that was on a lift year round. In the winter months I keep the block drained and a bilge ...

Re: What's In the Bag

Good choice on the JPX. When I was refitted a few years ago I was between those and what I ended up with which are the Titleist AP1s. Trackman data lead me towards the AP1 over the JPX. Anyway loving the AP1s as my Irons. Ping G25 driver (next to upgrade here in the near future) Titleist Vokey wedge...

Re: Stereo question for the experts

I upgraded our head unit last season to the Sony DSX-M55BT. We have 2 Sony remotes with the screen and after the upgrade, all buttons work but the screen is the only thing that does not work with the new head units. I feel I actually have more functionality out of the remote now as prior to the upgr...

Re: 2020 GMC 2500

+3 for the Super Duty. Ive owned all of them. Started on dodge which was the worst truck I've ever owned, then went to chevy (08 2500) which was better and I enjoyed until they started designing these cheap funky looking "things" Time to upgrade went to Ford and as soon as I got into the S...

Re: Relocating to Florida with a Cobalt

Agree with the above and making good choice with shipping the Marker down vs the R5 down to FL Our plans have changed and are a little up in the air for now regarding relocating so for now will be staying in TX and a bit in NYC. Thanks bobo, will keep you posted if we need to make a permanent move a...

Nice mtwbldr. Was that Lake Conroe you were on?
yes it was
I see you are also from Houston. Are you also on Conroe or Livingston?
I am on Livingston. Do you ever get up there or just stay on Conroe?
Mostly stay on Conroe. Haven't been up to Livingston in quite a few years.

Re: Stress crack??

Thanks BBP and YT! Ive been looking into the spectrum kit but am worried about the color matching. I know there's a fiberglass/gel coat expert in the area as my stereo supplier/installer recommended one to me this past spring. He uses him for custom work a lot and has seen work he's done on boats so...
