Stress crack??

First off, looks like the cobalt factory tour was amazing and sad to have missed! I ran up to our marina the other day to run our boat for a bit as the weather was pretty nice (my apologies to the cold weather members who winterize) When I was wiping down with Hot Sauce, I noticed this line/crack in...

Re: November Pics

It’s been a min since I’ve logged on. Just picked up from anual service and headed back to storage. Great looking pics everyone! Jealous but not jealous of the snow (love winter and skiing) hoping to get a few more days on the water here soon. Was trying to get out today but couldn’t make it happen....

Re: Single Point Drain with Air Pump

Thoughts on running the pink antifreeze on the muffs and then draining the system again, Like someone said air will not freeze and the pink stuff will displace any left over or trapped water. This is my process essentially for when there is a deep freeze forecasted. I’m located in Houston though so...

Re: Trim Tabs

Would highly recommend! We unfortunately do not have tabs and our lake gets pretty choppy on the weekends. Ive looked into adding them, just have yet to pull the trigger. Have test driven an R5 with tabs on the same lake and it was a big game changer having tabs.

Re: 2012 A25 - 300 Hours

^^^ seems very very cheap. I'm in the process of getting our A25 to sell as well as we're relocating to Florida and will not be giving as good a deal as this. To all you Club Red members out there jump on it!!

Re: Relocating to Florida with a Cobalt

Trade in on this baby! on the right track! Looking into these as we'd really like to stay with a Cobalt. Also considering the possibility of a cruiser like a used Sundancer 350 if you are thinking about a cruiser then go with Formula! https://www.boattrader.com/listing/2011-formula-350-sun-sport-10...

Re: Relocating to Florida with a Cobalt

The Merc isn’t closed cooling, and that will be the biggest issue. Your obstacle is simple, can you get a good number for it now? Resale will be killed if you run it in the salt. Personally, if you are permanently moving, I’d sell it or trade it in. Buy an outboard and your worries are far less. Ye...

Relocating to Florida with a Cobalt

The wife and I are looking to relocate to Fort Lauderdale, and I'm trying to decide what to do with our A25. We absolutely love our A25 but not sure if it is the best move to begin using her in saltwater. Our boat does not have a saltwater package as it was purchased for freshwater lake boating, but...

Re: winterizing method

I dont winterize down here in Houston either. I just drain the block and put a bilge heater in there. The boat is only an hr away so the 1 or 2 times we are forecasting a deep freeze overnight, I'll run up to the marina, back in the boat on the trailer, run the engine for 15 min then drain and plug ...

Re: Labor Day Weekend, 2018

The weather wasn't great this weekend, with the exception of Saturday.
Was nice to be back out on the boat as we haven't been in about 4 weekends due to travel.
