Re: Bilge Pump Recommendation & Hose size
If you only add a y for the second pump your going to be pumping back through the other pump. You'll need something to stop back flow. Or you could add a second hose and drill a separate hole.

Re: Outdrive fin
Trim should be down. Then once your boat is up on plane you can start to trim up. If the bow starts to bounce up and down you've trim up too far and need to trim back down until the bow stops bouncing.

Re: First Mystery with a Volvo 5.7 ...maybe a couple
Yes check and tighten as it apears your alternator isn’t working or it’s not being consistent. Next to your perko switch you should have some jumper lugs ( red and black ) Let’s see our running voltage ( yes you need a volt meter) as once under 10.5 volts ecm and systems stop working. What he said....

Shrink wrap the tires ?Big Block Power wrote: ↑Mon Sep 21, 2020 6:04 pm So many people don't have the luxury of room to store their boats. Shrink wrap is one of the best ways to protect your toy. Don't forget about your tires though. It's just as harsh on them.

Re: Run those Bilge Blowers!
Good discussion on running the bilge blower after refueling. Related question: After you are underway, when is it safe to turn the blower OFF or does it need to run anytime the motor is running? I'm a volunteer firefighter and just went to my first boat explosion a few weeks ago here. Boat had just...

Re: Cobalt 2012 220 dual battery winterization
Hello - I am new to boating and this might be a stupid question. I am planning on putting a battery maintainer for the winter on 220 that we had purchased earlier this year. It has dual batteries with VSR. I looked thru the manual and this site on how to put the maintainer but could not get the ans...

Re: August 2020 Pictures
I noticed you are in Neenah, WI. There is a company up there that insures my wife's wedding ring that handled our claim with absolutely no hassle at all. We are lifelong customers of their's now. I called this company to see if they would insure my boat, but they only offer insurance for jewelry. I...

Great day on the water. Air temp 72 water temp 79. Not much wind or today. Our lake very seldom lays flat. Always something rolling. Went for a nice long run. Max darn near wake boarded across the lake. Then they tubed all the way back. Wow, water looks nice. Can't believe water is still that warm....
