Re: Mold/Mildew stains
. Wow. Seats look great. Sunshine and a mixture of bleach or biokleen can help with mold. Let it sit in the sun with that. Not sure if that’s possible though in your situation. +1 Sun is your best friend. Also just like dry hands your seats need moisture to release grime and dirts. If there too dry...

Re: Add After market bow Thruster on New R30?
Confirm with Cobalt if the hull warranty is voided with the bow thruster install. Re-sell is an advantage to either of your options. Personally, our 360 has no bow thruster and built long before joysticks. Backing into our 12' slip takes some practice, but I do it all the time. Good point on Hull w...

Re: Is Cobalt mostly a lake boat?
The term “ lake boat” is used to describe only dealing with other boats wakes and light chop. Usually low freeboard type boats. If your dealing with swells and deep water wave action you adjust your speed, trim and make good decisions on when to go out. Personally… unless you get into 8,000 lbs ( wa...

Re: New R30 Build
I would imagine the Sea Core comes with the upgraded “ salt water hardware package? I would ask as it’s amazing in quality and shine.( yes I pocketed a few screws on my vist to Cobalt). The build looks great as fresh water guy . Yes 8.2 would be great. 8.2 HOs with captain call exhaust would be even...

Re: Found My "HO"
Btw, why was the previous owner selling? . Thanks, The previous owner is looking to travel with his wife, and felt it was time to sell with her limited use. He was a 4 time Cobalt owner, and retired Air force (they are known to be pretty picky right pal! ) He was concerned I boat in salt wate...

Found My "HO"
As some may know we sold our 282 with twin 8.1 Volvo's last year.. We absolutely loved the 282 for the size and speed. Plus twins are easy to park, and sound mean underway. But the conditions were right to sell , and go after the model, and combo I have wanted for a long time. As I placed my used bo...

Re: Satin Black Lettering on Black Hull
I wonder if you could get away with doing satin black on the registration numbers? Only if you want to meet every water sheriff  ... That satin Cobalt looks great on there!! We found out quickly that small boats with hard to read CF numbers are a magnet for "Hello hows everybody today&quo...

Re: Out, Not Back In
Looks nice! If the handles are studs with inserts you can back them out possibly . ( maybe there swapped by accident? Or remove them and treat it like a kitchen cabinet handle and go longer from from inside. Thanks. Not sure I understand. In the bottom two pictures, you can see the handle. It has t...

Re: windshield door
I placed a plastic shim (1/4 inch ) under the brace that you may notice in the picture. it alleviated the problem for a period of time but it bothers me that it seems to be progressing Yes that would be irritating. Id image the brace has lost its tension yield then, and allowing the window to drop....
