Re: What you adding to your gas
Agree, was just re-reading my owners manual and it recommends Volvo Penta fuel stabilizer at every fill when using an ethanol gasoline. I'm sure the others would work just as well. And I would think it not necessary is you can get ethanol free gas. I did not see anything about the grade of fuel but ...

Re: What you adding to your gas
I think I can get the prop info. I mistakenly said my boat had 100+ hrs. but it is only 20 so it will loosen up some more and then I can pursue re-propping or not.

Re: What you adding to your gas
With 120 hrs on it I'm barely getting 53-55. I hoping it will loosen up some more. I'm looking into re-propping it since my wife and I don't do water sports we don't need as powerful a hole shot. But that may be too expensive for what we might gain. Would like to get 60 mph. Our 226 back in 2002 wou...

What you adding to your gas
Are most of you using a fuel additive when refueling such as Star Brite, Stabil, etc? I have a 210 with 320 HP. There is only one place I can get non ethanol gas and rarely near any of the lakes I got to. Going to Lake Powell in July and they have 87 octane only I think. I have not checked with my d...

Re: I miss my boat...
I usually look at the average meteorological last freeze date for my region and go from there. First week of April here in KC but still got boat in my building waiting for 80+ weather. Has gotten there this week but very windy. Some time in May should be good.

Winterizing
Took my 210 to dealer for winterizing here in eastern KS on Oct. 21. Had 20 hrs. so dealer hooked up computer, changed oil, etc. He says Volvo wants the mineral oil in for 100 hrs. before changing over to synthetic as they believe break-in will take place more effectively. Had read this somewhere pr...

Re: Trailer wheel lug nut checks
That looks like a very useful wrench. For years I've carried a bottle jack, a spanner wrench (4 nut sizes) and several short 2x4s for spacers. More than once they have come in handy for a trailer or some other repair need. Car jacks seldom work in those cases. I like the wrench idea as it has 4 size...

Trailer wheel lug nut checks
I was reading through my Heritage trailer (dual axle for a 210) info after we picked up our boat earlier this month and it made a big point of checking lug nuts after first 50 miles or so and again later. I remembered this at about 200 miles and sure enough I tightened most all the nuts with a spann...

Re: What does L mean?
Dealer says it means percentage of fuel left like you thought. As for disappearing trim he wants me to video so he can send to Cobalt engineers.

Re: What does L mean?
Your percentage makes sense. I have a call into dealer and will report.

Re: What does L mean?
Ok thanks. Had my boat out yesterday and the L began around 40 or 50 and ended around 20. It varies. I ran the fuel down to the first red warning mark so there seems to be some relationship to fuel and the space does show a fuel icon. It still doesn't make sense as it doesn't represent gallons and I...

What does L mean?
On my 210 you can scroll down on the screen that is located on the speedometer by pushing a button under the dash. You can basically get what the individual gauges give you such as RPM, depth, fuel consumption per hr., etc. There is one reading with an L and that number during my last trip varied st...

Launching/loading 210 solo
I previously had a 23 foot tri-pontoon and it was easy to launch by myself as it had the bow ladder. Now, with my 210 am wondering how folks accomplish this? My dealer showed me how to power launch/load with partner and that is not a problem. Just wondering how others do a solo launch when an occasi...

Re: Cobalt vs Sea Ray
That is for sure. I have a Ram mount that I intend to use off windscreen or other smooth surface to hold my Garmin Montana with Garmin LakeVu. Haven't looked for a location yet but think it will work out. Not as good as chart plotter but will serve my purposes.
