Awesome BBP.
Why am I having Deja Vu'?
Honestly I never get tired of seeing Max (or anyone for that matter) with the throttle FULL forward.

Re: From 190 to 226, a true love story lol
Yea if you're hitting the Rev limiter then you need to go up to f8. It will be fine. It's got plenty of torque to get up with any load in the boat. I think F8 is stock on that boat from what I remember and that is the same ratio I had and have. You will Probably hit 66 maybe. The 226 is one of the f...

Yea you can polish scratches or of gel coat as long as it's not too deep. It's pretty forgiving. Plenty of vids on here about buffing and polishing.

Re: From 190 to 226, a true love story lol
So are you turning too many rpms with the f7? I had a 8.1gi and was not overly thrilled. It lacked the midrange. I would have went from a f8 to f7. The big diff from a gi to gxi is the extra rpm range you get and can go with a F6. Plus the cam and other differences. The 50 extra hp is definitely not...

Re: Fiberglass cracking - BRAND NEW R4 Surf 2023
Yea no worries they will fix it. I would think it's a air pocket of some sort. Or yes maybe a bum spot in the mold they probably have 4 of the same molds they reuse 1 could have a bad spot. Through warranty claims they will find that out and fix the mold of that's what it is.

Re: My Brand New CS23 and Intro
Does your boat have the ski tow ring on the transom? Use that. I have always been told by several manufacturers reps, the ski tow ring is for water skiing only. A tube creates way too much force and will rip that ring out of the boat. . Pretty universal warning in most of the Cobalt manuals these d...

News to me on the ski tow eye. That's all I've ever used of equipped with one. I guess you are supposed to use the 2 transom hold downs then?

Unless you live in Alaska That black seadek flooring is going to get Hot! Complete opposite..Texas! Color options are limited in the space right now, maybe can see if they can swap out :-) I love the look of that boat and the interior but! Practical I think not. I'm sure someone will say it doesn't...

Nothing good will happen. Fix it now before it makes something else go. It should be smooth as butter.Amhochb wrote: ↑Thu Jul 06, 2023 9:19 amThats what i was afraid of. any harm in continuing to run as is?Big Block Power wrote: ↑Thu Jul 06, 2023 7:24 am If it's still doing it with new oil I would think your cone clutch is bad.
