...and I'd love to see you in one of those two smart devices, big block...especially with your smart phone typing prowess.

Actually, if there is one person who could cram a big block into a smart car or boat, I'm betting on you my friend.

I'm with BB on towing. It scares me to pull very far with something much smaller or lighter than my boat.

A three-quarter ton truck for example, has bigger brakes and a transmission cooler. Then a 1 ton is even more.. in breaking, transmission/oil coolers, heavy frame, and suspension.

I move mine around to maybe the ramp or to station for fuel with my old Land cruiser sometimes but no further than that. I pulled my 240 one time about 30 miles and it was all the old girl wanted! So I use a 3/4 ton truck.

Dealer passed by my house yesterday with my 242 on the trailer on the way to shop. I thought ... holy cow that's a big boat, wasn't even sure it was mine. I think if I tow it I will need more than my Diesel Porsche. I don't think my Porsche is even as large as Yt's Jeep and there's nothing but hills for miles surrounding my area once I come out of the marina. Now I have to figure out how to justify one of those big 3/4 Ton diesel pickups to Mrs. Driller. They're more than I paid for my Porsche now, highway robbery.

I see it all the time Driller. A 15 diesel with over 100,000 still brings over 30 grand at the car auction. Thats CRAZY

Yt is that the hitch on the ground.wow she's close. I heard if you twist the straps it helps stop them from flapping so much.

I can tell you that front crossmember sure likes to scrape on the steeper ramps in PA unless you have a 6” raise.
