So far, utilizing the center walk thru transom with this Cobalt 263 seems to be working very well with all the tech's jumping on and off the boat. 😳

I just offer dry towels as our guests swim up to board our boat..
Seriously, we tell guests to remove shoes and toss them in first. As long as shoes are off and feet are bare, we board it any which way is the easiest. Sometimes is the front cushion, but usually it's from the swim deck.

Maybe a new option should be heated swimdecks for the northern market? Here is an idea Tuscany!

We're tough up here. Mentally tough as nails.. after all, we are the home of the Buffalo Bills. If we can deal with that perennial disappointment and open assault on our mental sanity, then what's a little cold water?
This was Captain Ron coming aboard just yesterday.

I use the swim platform and the walk through to board. I prefer bare feet and lead by example. I keep my boat very clean, so an expectation is set for those that join me on the lake. I keep a towel at the walk through for everyone to wipe their feet on. Once we are all playing n the water, dirty feet is no longer an issue.

When my son as here on the 4th with his 8 or 9 unless I told them to remove their shoes before boarding. After the third time they ignored me and I stepped on a rock (and cut my foot, the stones here are flinty) i only mildly regret the adjectives i used when I told them (his mother inlaw) there would be NO more shoes in the boat.

So the moral of the story there is to make sure you have enough towels on the boat floor so as not to get any blood on the fiberglass or carpets. :D
