We tried to balance a tire with the beads in them. We couldn't. It messes up the readings. I think that is why they say to remove all the weights.

That's interesting.
I would have thought you would be able to balance with beads in.
Ok I'm buying new winter tire and rim package for my car and I thought of this for my boat seeing that I am replacing my tires and New rims I think this would be a great option to add.

What's the threshold on those? Or is there no warning trigger? I like!!!
I don't know. I just found them. In one of the descriptions it sets off a alarm for temperature and one for pressure loss in a certain about of time.
I think this is a great idea. If you don't want it on your phone they got one that plugs in to your accessory plug. And has the read out showing the pressures. All good stuff.

BBP make sure you check the range on those things. A lot of add-on TPMS systems for cars don't have the range to work on a trailer with the receiver inside the tow vehicle. The system I put on is designed for cars, and kinda works ok for the trailer, although I think I'm right on the edge of the range because the pressure and temps only update once every 5-10 minutes. That's fine for slow leaks but it may not help (and may give false sense of security) for blowouts or larger leaks.
