Water skis

Post by jhnmdahl »

Looked at a handful of reviews and stopped by a few shops to pick up water skis last summer, and decided on the HO Burner Pro 67. Ended up getting a bit of a discount on a prior year model with black and white graphics rather than the current black and yellow, and am pretty pleased overall. I wanted a pair for slalom/combo skiing, and that were beginner-friendly as well as fun for people who have skiing experience.

Skis are:

Bigblock, way to dig this up from when it was just me talking to myself :)

Skis were a good buy - I got a nice price on them, and don't ski enough to justify anything fancier. Unfortunately not many others like to ski these days, so we end up swimming, tubing, etc. much more often.

Yea I saw no one answered it so I had to fix that. I loved skiing. I have a nice EP ski but my son David will use it. I would love to try it again but I know I'll pay the price if I do. It's for a bit smaller person. Not sure I could keep it on top of the water.lol

We occasionally will still ski with the Connelly's my brother and I used when we were kids. We also have my dad's skis from when he used them in the 60's. Fun going back in time with technology. HO's are a nice ski.

That's so some. I remember the first time going to Florida and going by winter garden. Now all of the wake parks. Seaworld I think was sponsored by them. Now when I go there I just think of them. Not many people realize what started there.
