I realize this string is on the 2005 220 but I can't find anything on the 2007 212. Does anyone know where online I could find the spec's for the ski locker for a Cobalt 212 2007?

Do you have access to it at all. The numbers are on the strut. I've replace a bunch of mine. Take a picture of the numbers.

I'm sure I have some in the basement or I can look in the boat for you.

That would be great. No rush though. After all boating season doesn’t start in Texas for another month.

2004 220

For the record, my hatch gas shocks are OEM P/N: SL29-40 (40 psi?). I did find one place where it appears to be "in stock" but most places are out-of-stock. I don't know if you guys have other suppliers in case the check-out process fails, or I get a email 3 days later that my order can't get filled, etc. I'm also assuming the P/N has the correct female ball type ends, and the SS shock mounting pivot points pads (round knob) on the hull and hatch with the pins don't wear. Thanks

I'm thinking of going up to 60lbs. That beast is heavy.
Plus you can Google the SL29- 40 and find off brands as well.

Yes I agree and that's why I'm asking especially when it get wet its wicked heavy. I wondered if somebody did that option to increase lbs. As a matter of fact I think I'll try the 60 lbs. I just didn't want it bouncy as i cruise around if you know what I mean.

Yep or even 50. I'll be changing mine. I don't think it will ever bounce open the way it's designed.
