Boy to save $50k! Not bias but I'm a merc guy. I like my Volvo but merc is down the street from us and my brother works for them. Jump on her. I might also be a bit partial to the color.

For those not on mobile, the full site page for the essentially new R5 is:

If only I had the cash and were in the market for one...

I recently traded my 2011 242 for this R7. I too debated between a R7 and a A28 but ultimately went with the R7. No regrets. It has all that I wanted with the Volvo 380 (beast of an engine!), stainless steel arch, windlass, upgraded stereo with transom remote, seagrass (far better that the carpet I had in the 242), and the fender clips.

While I must of built hundreds of color combinations on Cobalt's website, this is one I would have never thought of until I saw it and decided I really liked it. Ebony on top with the Ice Blue boot stripe. Depending on the angle and the light, it sometimes looks blue but most of the time appears silver or light gray. I think it is just enough to contrast the top and bottom.

Pretty sharp, Prop. I love the seagrass too, especially compared with wet, soggy carpet. Thanks for sharing your new toy!

You guys have to definitely find each other, gdane. You could start your own Cobalt club on Table Rock lake alone!
