Ooops.. I forgot to add the cost for new or modified mooring covers and my quick cover.. maybe still worth it..

Especially if it apears to break down at the box like the oem Ones do. I imagine they do with the box versions.

Love the tower. Logo's only.

for 10K i could probably pick up another beat up 190 for my other foot.

Thanks everyone for all the input. IF the measurements work out (Samson has a schematic where the critical measurements are filled in) then I am going to go for it. Please not the "IF". The tower is strictly for appearances, speakers and handholds when embarking / disembarking. Any towing will use reinforced pylon on swim platform. Luckily we have a Mastercraft in the family to get our wakeboarding fix. Samson said for the Cobalt base they need the boat in Washington state for the custom manufacturing. Likely not taking the expense of shipping there, then shipping back to MI. I am not ready to accept that answer though and will push them on this. Will keep updating progress.

I can't quite yet understand all the abbreviations and colloquialisms but am starting to. (Yikes) :D

To clarify. No autocorrect here. I meant what I said. I’m going to use that 10k and wear my 190s as shoes 👟.

My boat is small... compared to some other people’s boats.

Sigh 😔. This post is going poorly.

Tower saga update. Three conference calls in and many measurements later we have a tower that works for the 282. It is still the Samson Blade. Shoutout to the marina for all their patience while I consume a lot of their personnel's time. Will take before and after pics for those interested. Tower does fold if you boat where there are low clearances. I have to worry about hitting Mackinaw Bridge which carries a different set of concerns! Buying custom Loadmaster trailer to match boat. Any opinions out there on this co's trailers?

Tuscany has one and loves it. He'll chime in. It's close to you so why not. If you hit that bridge you have bigger problems.lol
Congrats :-)
How wide is your beam? Do you have a picture of the tower? Judd is looking for one.
