2006 220

Post by brianp »

Hello all, just purchased this boat. Can anyone tell me if there is supposed to be a dimmer switch for the gauge lights?

I'm having a issue with the bow and gauge lights lighting up.

I'm suspicious that the nav/anc switch may be bad, but someone asked me about a dimmer switch.

This particular boat does not have one.

Thanks Brian

Nope no dinner or dimmer switch.
Welcome to the forum from Wisconsin. We like pictures :-)
Do you have power going into the switch and the ground. It's pretty easy circuit to check.

Brian
I have 06 220 also, Michigan Colors-Maze and Blue, came from a Celebrity 22' boat with big block to Cobalt w/350 mag, other than noise,( Celebrity had silent choice), I don't miss the big block at all. I've also noticed the Cobalt rides much smoother.
I really enjoy this boat!
Good luck with yours, google the crap out of your problems for troubleshooting

So i have this delay with forward gear engagement, just started at the end of last season, guessing Cone clutch. Question is to Others that have had this replaced. Did you just replace the clutch or did you need the gear sets also. thanks Brian

Thread is here.
