I like it. It's got the same blue as the one I was looking at. Can you read the led easy? Once your on the water you will have to let us know. With polarized sunglasses I can't see my depth finder led. Looks like a great fit though. Also if you really like spending money on her you can get new wood panels that are not discolored. Yt found the place that makes them.

The display is a little dim, and the reflective cover doesn't help. One of the complaints I read about in the reviews was that it was hard to see, but I figured squinting or looking over my glasses or whatever is still easier than pulling out my phone and launch the GPS app.

I may try plasti-dipping the panels. I contacted Tecnografic about new panels and they said they no longer have the templates for my boat. They can make them but need measurements on everything to get me a quote, and I haven't gotten around to measuring all of the panels yet.

Broke out the polisher today. She cleaned up a little better than before. Not a drastic difference, but got some of the swirls out. Still have a few slightly hazy spots, but this is good enough for now! My arms are tired

Busy weekend, but got a lot done. Finished painting the drive, replaced inner seals on trailer and repacked bearings, installed GPS gauge, polished and waxed the boat, and changed the drive lube.

The drive oil came out blue, and the stuff I could see in the lube monitor was blue as well. I think it was changed in Oct 2016 and then not used until I bought it, but figured I'd change it anyway. There was some sludgy crap in the bottom of the lube monitor, looked like it had previously had some water in the lube and they didn't clean out the monitor. Got that all taken care of.

When I refilled the gear lube I used a pump and pushed the new lube up from the drain plug until it started coming out the upper hole. At that point I put the plug in the upper hole and continued to pump until I saw a little bit in the monitor tank. When I unthreaded the pump fitting from the drain plug hole it spit some lube back out at me that felt like it was under very light pressure, thought that was weird. Once I got the lube up to the upper hole, was I supposed to switch over and pump from there instead of the drain to fill up to the monitor tank?

Here's a throwback to when I first "met" the boat. She's come a long way!

That is how u do it. It is a race to get that bottom plug in as the oil spits out.

Looks very nice. Yes busy weekend for sure. Sounds like it was new lube in it. I never had a b1 drive but sounds the same as a b3 pump from the bottom and I pumped till the tank was half way. Just keep a extra qt with you in the boat. It always gets air bubbles and goes down some during the season.

Was wondering if you opened the monitor tank while pumping. It needs to be open while filling and then closed before you try to plug the bottom.
