Welcome from a fellow Texan Sailor. At least I hope you haven't given up your Texan Citizenship. After all you've only been up there for a decade.

Great boat, glad you joined us.

I feel obliged to state that other than John the admin. I am the only sane member on the forum.

Welcome from the white boat with red stripe club, also from Ky. I love the r3, great boat. This is a fun group on this forum. They are very eager to help but then you get a thread entitled "I kissed a buck last night". It's like that box of chocolates thing from Forest Gump. Good luck.

You know what they say about Texans---

Some were born there, the rest got there as quick as they could!

So far, it looks like we will be using her for some tubing, some cruising, a little canine companion time and a late night Johnny Walker Blue consumption platform.....all with as many friends as we can.

I'm probably boasting, but you gotta love the way these baby's turn heads on the trailer or water! Would have loved the R5, but it was a little too much for the truck to be comfortable towing
I can get behind all these statements. Congratulations and welcome.

Also a sailor here - but purely for recreation. You might enjoy the Star rebuild thread though.
