I used the white one to try it and it draws allot. I had it plugged into the acc plug in the glove box and it kicked out the stereo memory. So I'm going to add a plug on its own and directly to the battery for any compressor I decide to use. I'm post a picture of the plug when done.

Here is a pic of the stock Coleman pump. I ended up buying the Coleman Quick Pump 12V which has worked well this past weekend. However, it did interrupt my Stereo during inflation. Maybe I could swap the new for the old?

^ that's what mine did also when I had it plugged in by the glove box. So I just added a new plug wired directly to the battery on its own circuit. I'll see if that fixes that issue. Sometimes if you turn on your docking lights you might get that too.

Southernboatman wrote: Sat May 27, 2017 6:34 am I got this one. Read for many they don't pump up enough so need a manual to add to pump or add later in the day. Not. This one seems to pumps high enough pressure and deflates. This one Hooks to batt or there is a smaller less pressure one to lighter outlet. Not wild about climbing down and having to hook up and unhook but maybe someone can share a good option to run a wire and post up to the wall where other posts are by batt switch to hook on/off more easily???
+1

Btw, anything that gets powered by a cigarette lighter outlet (such as the cobalt factory air compressor) just does not get enough power to be effective, IMHO.

We purchased the Overton one with the red and black battery clamp ends. Our 262/263 models have an area in the cockpit under the rear seat which is used for jumper cables. We just hook the pump to the red and the black bolts and pump 4-5 big tubes up in a jiffy.

Yes...great feature for tuber's, BigBlock.
It's primary purpose is to power the electric hatch with jumper cables or with a portable battery pack just in case the batteries are dead.

Yes I plan to run a post to where the others are under the port side seat to clamp onto because crawling to the batt is a pain. But the pump works great, except for the ear piercing deafening whine!

"except for the ear piercing deafening whine"

That's not so bad...but you do need to be careful not to melt the plastic tubing as she can get hot while pumping all those tubes!
