I spoke to Gerry's marine yesterday, BBp.

Gerry is on vacation until Thursday. I'll call him next week.

I did speak to the tech, Randy, and he mentioned they will refund the cost of the hose install. At least that's something. It's the right thing to do as well.

We had a nice chat about the entire ordeal. He thought there was more to it but, the quick lake test just wasn't long enough to reveal the true problem.

All is well now. No hard feelings. They were not trying to hide anything.

Correct. Unfortunately as you know these beasts are not easy to work on and it was a technician error and wasn't done on purpose. It just sucked it killed the end of your season. But it will make the spring time so much more fun. Something to look forward too.

Catching up... Congrats A7!!! Nice job! Bill wasn't as bad as I expected too. You do have a nice one! And now you can rest better knowing your outdrive isn't going to fall off with half that that bracket!

Wow, what an ordeal.

I would have been tempted to weld or bolt on a replacement for that cracked piece of the transom bracket. That sure looked like a clean and new break where that piece just fell off.

It’s probably for the best that you replaced the whole transom bracket as you would have always been wondering if it was going to break in a completely new place.

I’m so late to this thread that you don’t even have the boat anymore!
