Does this look like $347.79 worth of Cobalt gear?

Post by AsLan7 »

When we sold our 262 three years ago to a brand new boating family, I threw in EVERYTHING that came with the boat so I could start fresh with brand new stuff when we found our next boat (263) plus give this new family a kick-start with everything they need to be safe and legal on the water.

I'm regretting that decision somewhat as I just got back from West Marine after not having any luck finding the below items at Field & Stream; Gander Mountain; and Dick's Sporting Goods. Man WM can be expensive. I only purchased what was competitive with Amazon. The rest of what I need will be ordered online.

I was looking for the exact blue & black fenders you see...custom rope...poly coated anchors with chain....and a couple of miscellaneous items. Yes folks, that $350 worth.

The monogrammed towels were a gift from my mom and are NOT part of the $350 number. They will look nice though lining the cabin rail of the cuddy.

Time to go make more money.

(and yes, you can tell we bleed red white and blue as a military family)

That's why I like flipping boats it's all the free stuff left in them. Some really good things some not so good. I'm not that anal about everything had to match as.next year it could be another color.lol

I made that mistake one of letting everything go. Never again. It adds up in a hurry.

Never pulled anything out of my boats until ...I bought "The one that came with nothing.. zip.. nada..nil"

Since my fenders lines where push pins .. colored fender. Excact fit etc..I figured it was part of the selling feature..

I supplied the anchors on my last boat but kept everything else..not knowing my 282 that I found later had everything .

So your wondering if it's $$ worth it.. you did great!!

Now go to Cobalt.com... click apparel. And continue!! Haha.. fun

Shirts for the boys. Hoodie for the wife.

Wife bought me a couple long sleeve s which I love. Their gear is top tier.

The sticker sucks though. Talk to BB If you want a cool decal for your tow rig.

I was going to get a plate bracket for my license plate but I'm too cheap to spend $25

Very cool.

Yes,my wife got me a beautiful Cobalt shirt for my birthday but it was one size too big.

Unfortunately Cobalt was discontinuing this particular shirt and it cost me $14 to ship it back for a $52 refund. Hate when it costs money to get nothing.

A few years ago, I wrote Cobalt and asked them to change their front license plates to say "Cobalt Boats" from the less distinctive "Cobalt" which most folks associate with the Chevy Cobalt.

I was ecstatic when they actually listened!
