I freaking love this Rev 4! Much better bottom end, and I lost 400 rpm up top but no speed :)

RPM - Trim - Mirage MPH - Rev4 MPH
2000 - full down - 9 - 12
2500 - full down - 22 - 26
3000 - 1/2 - 32 - 35
3500 - 1/2 - 38 - 42
4000 - full up - 46 - 49
4500 - full up - 51 - 56
WOT - full up - 60@5150 - 60@4750

Mercury prop slip calculator shows me at 20% slip with the Mirage and 13% slip with the Rev4.

With those numbers, would you stick with the 23p or drop to 21p?

It's great! I feel like I can accelerate out of a u turn from a standing start faster than I could accelerate in a straight line with the Mirage.

I think I said a 21p awhile ago. I think that's what you need to go with. Your going to crap once you get a 21 on it. You should keep your top end and gain bottom and mid-range. Yes that's going to get better. What is your wot rpm supposed to be 5k I can't remember that spec. I think it's 5000. You will be just about right I think. You can trim the Heck out of that prop.
Congrats :-) love the shot and I bet there's a grin somewhere in that picture.lol

After thinking about it all afternoon, my only hesitation with the 21p is that assuming the same 13% slip, I'd have to hit 5200 RPM to see 60mph, not sure if that's realistic. I did see 5150 with the Mirage this morning, which surprised me since I thought my year 502 was only good to 5000 RPM.

Yes, there was a grin on my face, felt like a whole new boat. It was great being able to cruise at 2800 RPM too, it felt effortless!
