I don't know squat about electrical. I both admire you and hate you at the same time Thunder! 😊 I wish I could do half the stuff you knock out.

Even with my (very) limited knowledge of wiring, I sure thought plugs and wiring were standard? This is what I Googled, and what I've attempted before at my feeble attempts at rewiring trailers:

White-Ground
Brown-Tail/Running Lights
Green-Right Turn/Brake - Remember green has an R in it
Yellow-Left Turn/Brake - Remember yellow has an L in it

Blue-Brake Controller Output
Purple-Auxiliary 12v Power/Reverse Lights/Reverse Lockout For Trailer Brakes
Black 12v Battery Power

I wonder why your RV is different? Maybe you should rewire that sucker too.. I'd double dog dare you but I know you'd have it done by this afternoon.

Here's a Q&A from etrailer
Question
Why is There a Wire Color Differnce Between 7 Way Traditional vs RV Standard
Why is there a difference? I wired my truck for the Camper but now it doesnt work with my horse trailer or car hauler? Why isnt there an industry Standard? Thanks

Answer
It's a wire color difference but not a function difference on the pins of the 7-way. The difference comes from the fact that the two different styles are representative of two different areas that uses trailers. Traditional is usually seen on equipment, utility and cargo trailers. Whereas RV standard is for campers and travel trailers. They both basically started doing their own thing and are too stubborn to adopt the other side. HA!

A lot of it has to do with the fact that there are so many trailers already out there wired each way that if either changed it would still cause confusion.

Brake controller is in. Prewiring in a vehicle sure makes it easy.

All you gotta do is not let the magic smoke out of the wires!

Is that snow salt on your floor matts :-)
Does that brake control have sway control settings for the track :-)

At least the terminals are in the same spot. Nothing like screwing with the colors. Hopefully the next guy that buys your trailer doesn't open up the box and go wth.lol

Gotta have it for my next race day :)

Got the numbers on. The curve on the front of these boats is a PITA! Port side I did "straight", now it looks crooked  Starboard side I cut the backing paper so I could follow the curve, looks better IMO. Wish I would have done this on both sides. Oh well.

Boy who did that port side? Your wife helping you. You know that just cost you more money because you can't leave out like that. I'm not that nice to say it looks good.lol ok yes I am that looks good.:-)
I hope it's fixed before I get there again I won't let you live that down.lol

Yes cutting the backing paper is a must on the reg numbers unless your putting them on your windshield.lol

Did you try to peel the buggers off?

Thanks BUDDY. I appreciate it

No didn't try to peel it off. Leaving it as for now, if it drives me nuts after awhile I'll replace it again. I wasn't convinced I like the new numbers but the more I looked at the boat the more they grew on me. They are a lot more subtle than the ones I had on there.

Oh, ya. You gotta replace those port side ones, T550.... The perfectionist in us all will not "tolerate" that. :D
Thanks for posting the pics though...and the windshield looks great!

I like them! Not to loud but not to " hey over here officer I got no cf numbers".

And no worries about the numbers being aligned. It's not like you can see both sides at the same time? Oh wait.. strike that 😂 Just razzin

Your Windshield looks good! I ordered proper stuff for mine so I'll post a pic when I do it!!

Thanks guys :)

I should have taken before and after pics of the port side frame. It was really black / discolored at the top of the curve. Cleaned up really nice. Will be looking forward to seeing yours cm

Did you clean where the center windshield contracts the starboard section. That's the worse spot for these windshields.
