It would allow more time hanging off the bow yelling "Im sailing".

Last trip of the year was just the two of us and made for a very relaxing weekend. Oct 1-4 at Lake Mohave

A7, I've always liked the WSS models too but you sure don't see many out here on the west coast!

Still hanging on a little longer on Winnipesaukee. Foliage just about prime. Though not the best place in New Hampshire for leaf peeping. Lots of evergreen trees surround the lake and nearby mountains.

Better weather than expected. Turned out to be about 40% sunny on the south side of the lake. To the North and bigger mountains, rain and clouds.

15 mile up and back to Meredith for lunch on perfect flat water.

Great pics… I have been more active on this site than usual because I’m san’s boat at the moment as we await anxiously await the deliver of our R8S scheduled for March or perhaps may or later ha ha (but not really ha ha that would suck). Anyway for the time being I’m living vicariously through this website 😉.

Made a nice dinner run and evening cruise last night. Water was glass calm and a great full moon made for a really beautiful evening. Quick swing by AJ’s on the Bayou in Fort Walton Beach and then cruised around the bay. Couldn’t help but throw on the underwater lights for a sec while running, always looks neat.

South Floridians would basically say I live in Canada since we are on the panhandle. We probably have usable boat season late April until late November up here. The water just dipped below 80 so the end is near, I know that probably sounds ridiculous.

Tampa is the mason dixon line of forever summer in my opinion.

2nd to last day. Quick rip then put the Cabana to bed for winter. Tomorrow, one final ride then clean out the boat for the marina to haul and store for the winter.

80 degree water temp and just about done for the year... Heck we are lucky to get water temps in the upper 70’s up here in the end of summer and we’ve been done boating for close to a month already! 28 degrees tonight. I need to move south! Before we know it we will be walking and driving cars on the water up here.

The winter months don't bother me. My first and still biggest passion is downhill skiing. It's the shoulder seasons in New England that are awful. From right about now until December there's just too many raw and rainy days in the 40s. Then we get the same again from Mid April to Mid May. If I could flip a switch and go from the nice 70-90 degree days of summer to 25 and lots of snow, sign me up.

Many moons from now when I retire (and if my investments do very well!) I'd love to find a monthly rental on a lake down south from roughly Columbus Day to Thanksgiving then 4/15 to 5/15 in the spring. Drag the Cobalt down south to extend the boating season about a month in the fall, store down there for the winter and head back in the spring to start the season about a month early. That would be perfect
