Bimini

Post by DEcosse »

I have just acquired a 2006 232 with Tower and SWPF
When looking at after-market Bimini options, they all seem to make a big deal about specifying the exact model of boat/equipment but then they seem to take you to a 'Universal' page that then has no seeming connection to the boat you entered. Is this just a marketing trick to have you thinking this is truly customized to your specific boat or ???
What manufacturers have our members purchased and their recommendations?
I'm probably looking at a custom fit locally here in the PNW, but he is swamped until off-season - so I'm considering one of these after-market brands as an interim solution for a couple of months and hopefully re-sell to at least recover some % of the cost. I am extremely fair skinned and already got fried in very short order, so it's a must have for me.

.
Hey DEc…so glad you found us.

It’s probably a generic top for your Cobalt. Many times these websites have you go through their model choices since there are more popular models that they may carry. If it is not a more popular model then it will direct you to their generic tops.

Any pics?

And welcome aboard mate.

Thankyou for Welcome @AsLan7 - sorry to have been so rude to not properly introduce myself in the Introductions sub-forum first!
I'm actually heading off to pick it up this evening - will post some pics and more info tomorrow.

I think you have Samson towers located by you. I would check them out.

+1

Cannot say enough good things about Samson and their customer service. They are severely backed up again this year, though - even worse than last year.

They are across the river from downtown Portland, right on the OR/WA border.
