Yeah, it's Google ads, and they do keep the server and other bills paid. I haven't seen this particular ad (until now, fortunately), but you can click on the little triangle or the "X" in the top right corner of the ad and select "stop seeing this ad" and you won't see it anymore.

More of the ads I see are for boating-related products these days, which is actually kind of nice.
