Best way to clean the white letters on the Cobalt mooring cover

This was my first offseason with our new Cobalt and when I went to go check in on her for the pre-spring prep I noticed that the white lettering on the Cobalt mooring covered looked very dingy. Can I just attack this with a bleach/water mix without damaging the hydrophobic properties of the mooring cover?

I'd be afraid to use bleach. We've only used soap and water, but it only looked new the first season.

I like to use LA's Totally Awesome for my cover. I don't have the white letters, but that shouldn't make a difference. I like LA's because you can dilute it as far as you want. I do a 50/50 mix. You can get this from Dollar General and Home Depot. Pretty cheap too.

I would. It certainly can't hurt, and I'm sure the LA's will remove any product sprayed on the cover for UV protection. 303 makes great products as well.

I cleaned mine last year with some diluted car wash detergent. I did use 303 to re-waterproof-

It took about 1/2 a gallon in a sprayer. Keep in mind, 303 will kill grass if you get overspray---I had a nice 24ft outline of a boat cover and it will also leave some discoloration on concrete....it did go away after about 6 weeks.

No, I do as well. But I don't have stains to take of either. I just put my washer on the same setting I would to wash my vehicles, and give her a rinse. Never needed anything more on the covers for this boat. The older boats were a different story. They needed some chemicals to get completely clean.

I bought a super cheap pump sprayer from one of the big box stores- I think it was about $12 and then just tossed it.

I have a Generac OneWash, which is variable. It goes down to like 800 psi, and up to 3100. I purchased specifically for washing vehicles, with the bonus of peeling stain off of fences, houses, etc. So far, so good, but I understand where you're coming from.
