2006 Cobalt 220 Trailer in DFW

Hi all,

Just picked up a 2006 Cobalt 220 with the Volvo 5.7 GI DP. The boat did come with a trailer when purchased, however it’s not a great fit for the boat. It’s a 1998 model intended for use by a 21 foot Regal. The length and weight capacity are sufficient, but the bunks need adjustments and the Atwood style trailer brakes are shot. Rather than fixing the bunks and converting to electric brakes, I’m thinking it may be more cost effective to purchase another trailer instead.

Any recommendations or anyone know any available for sale in the north Texas area?

A couple of folks here have converted to EOH and one member is currently adjusting bunks. Maybe you want to search those threads to get an idea if this is a possibility for you.
