Beeping alarm every minute (5.0 270hp)

I have a 2012 220 with a 5.0 270hp. At the end of last year it threw a code at WOT and de-rated itself down to I want to say 1500 rpm. I had never changed the impeller in 3 years of ownership so I figured that was the culprit, but took it to a repair shop just in case. They hooked it up to the scanner, ended up changing spark plugs, rotor, distributor cap, ignition cable kit, impeller & o-rings and other regular maintenance. They also took it for a water test and said it performed fine.

The first time we took it out this year, about 3 minutes into WOT (about 46mph) the alarms went off and it derated itself again. Temp didn't get above 160 the whole time. I shut it down and let it sit for a couple minutes before starting back up. I ran it at about 2000 rpm for about 10 minutes back to the cove. Every 60 seconds on the dot there was a single beep, temp never got over 160 on the gauge. We anchored for the day and on the ride back to the trailer we ran about 2000-2500 rpm and it didn't beep once.

Does a singular beep exactly 60 seconds apart mean anything specific? I don't know if I should try taking it out again or check for a bad sensor somewhere before taking it back into the shop.

Low gear lube in the outdrive? What information did the scan provide last year? If it is putting you in limp mode it can be very serious. It could be a bad sensor but they won't necessarily put you in limp mode.

The tech said they don't keep record of what the codes were at time of repair. The repair invoice doesn't have any codes listed..

I’m having the same beep every 60 seconds on our 2012 276. Boat has 370 hours, Volvo penta 8.1 Gi. Had a check engine light this afternoon. Shut it down. Went back this evening and no check engine, just the 1 minute singular beep. would love any input!
