I’m having the same drain issue with a ‘99 206. The gas tank or something else very hard is pressed up against the hole. A coat hanger doesn’t fit anywhere. Is it possible for the gas tank to shift forward and cause this?
Thanks for any insight.
.
So glad you found us hb667....and sorry to hear about your 206 bilge issue.
I'd be surprised to hear the gas tank actually shifted. Is there another metal piece (a shield, deflector, etc.) that's in that space? Do you have a pic or two?
And welcome aboard mate.

Hi, the the drain hole is just large enough that I can poke my finger in and feel the rigid obstruction about an inch in. There’s no place to clear with a coat hanger as the space between the ski compartment and the obstruction is very tight. Thanks for the help, it’s bewildering.
Thanks to link with handy tool but there’s not enough room for anything between the rigid obstruction and the ski locker. I’d love to talk to someone who knows exactly how the ‘99 206 is constructed. I’m starting to wonder if it was designed to drain in between the small gap between the gas tank (obstruction?) and the ski locker. I May desperately try drano but hope it doesn’t cause other damage.

I'd think a little while and talk to others in the know before using Drano.

Is the rigid obstruction inside the drain line or outside the drain line?
Does it drain, just slowly or not at all?
you could also try a plunger, put some water in there and then plunge it like a toilet? How about a shopvac to suck it out? Or an air compressor or water hose to force it through?

I talked to my boat mechanic and he thinks it is in fact the gas tank and it has slid forward slightly and now blocks the hole. I’ll just sponge out the locker when needed.
