Garmin 740

Hi all iI have a 2014 R5 with a Garmin 740 installed. I recently purchased a " Blue chart g2 " not sure if i did anything wrong but it didn't make a difference. any thoughts ??

According to pgs 16-17 of the manual, the Bluechart g2 Vision data card adds a handful of features not included in the base chart, but it looks like the base chart remains the same. In other words, the Bluechart g2 might not add anything other than an update to the map, while the Bluechart g2 Vision adds the Vision features. I have a Garmin but not that type, so can't shed any more insight into it than what the manual covers:
