F2F I agree. I love the R series but it's just overkill for me. Wish I had a bunch of overweight friends just dying to ski. I almost ordered because of color. Mine had white hull with red stripe, very classic look which I really like. But I love the deeper hull colors (reds, blacks, navy) that just seem to shine. Fender clips are a great feature, very handy. I also would have ordered batt charger & transom switch but I can add those. We love the 220 & know you will, too. Good luck!

Trans one switch is a must. Reason is the drive has to be significantly down for swimstep.

I never knew that. That would be a huge issue for us. We swim in area led then 3 feet of water. The drive would be bouncing off the bottom all the time and when three or four adults are sitting in the back by the platform that makes it a big problem. I guess that step wouldn't be put down much while swimming for us.

The drive position doesn't affect our step. Am I missing something?

Congrats on the new boat order! :) wish I had enough lake company to justify buying a bigger boat. I plan on putting the final order details in tomorrow.

Thanks for the info.
What are those final new boat order details you decided upon, Fun2fish? :D
300hp, premium sound, arch w/bimini, flag, fender clips, and maybe transom trim switch. I really like the shale grey, just trying to decide boot strip or hull side. :)

Thanks!

That's one fo the main reasons for ordering, color. I like the shale grey. There is a leftover 17 that I could a good deal on, since boating season is a few months aways figured I'd order exactly what fits my wants/needs.

Exciting F2F!

If it were I, a dual battery switch would be added to my option list as well.
I'm very partial to hull side. Would your Shale gray selection would look something like this?

The second picture is about like what I'm leaning toward. Oh shoot, knew I was forgetting and option. Definitely getting the dual battery switch option.

I tried to call and finalize today but the dealer left for a Cobalt dealers shindig.

Also the cobalt letters seem to be an issue, mine isnt. I think a good option. All these guys on the site are always looking for replacement letters

Good point AjC. I saw that Cobalt Oval recessed letter option listed for $185. May be worth it so the fender's don't take out an "L". :?
Btw, thanx again Bbp. :D
