Maybe but I don't use traditional paste wax. I use Adams H2O sealer and polish and it works pretty good. Just spray and wipe. It works on my Cobalt letters so these shouldn't be any different and I think they look cool!

They're clean looking and blend in with the dock lights and the Cobalt letters on the rear.
They come spaced, and very easy to apply.

Thanks guys, just ordered a set from them. I had been planning on heading down to the local sign store to have some plane jane vinyl letters put on when this thread popped up. So glad I waited as those look great!

Hey Missouri boat owners. You can save about 30% on your sales taxes and boat registration if you document your boat with the coast guard and you don't have to put numbers on your boat so no problem with the waxing! LOL

Yep that is what I did! Did you do that with yours? I see that a lot at lake of the ozarks but not as much at table rock so wasn’t sure how the Water Patrol will be. But that also could be because there aren’t as many boats that qualify for USCG certification on table rock.

So if you do this you have to name your boat?

Table

Your boat has to have a name and a hailing port. You will still have a Missouri registration tag just no numbers.
