360 generator impeller

Has anyone replaced the generator impeller on a 2001-2005 360? Can it be done while in the boat or does Genny need to be removed from boat?

it can be done in the boat, remove the top cover from the sound shield , shut your water pick up valve to off, there will be a small shield covering the intake hose remove that, remove the clamp on the hoses, pull them off and your impeller cover can be accessed from there , its tight took me about an hour
