Btw, they actually used 1800 HP to start as I believe the lead Boat was pulling the boat shown in the video...then released after the skiers were up. Very cool.

True I watched it a few times and never saw the 2nd boat so I thought the same as the other boat had to be in front. How did they release? I was trying to watch the wakes and couldn't see much from that either. 80 skiers=1800hp. Holy crap.
All of those ropes. Lol I bet that was fun to straighten out. Lol

I was wondering how they released as well. If it were I in the lead boat, after the skiers were up, I would throttle back a little and have the person in the bow of the second boat unhook the tow line from the eye. Then after the thumbs up, I would speed away. But that's just me.

I watched some other vids of the ski team From down in Janesville they are really good and they use that boat with the triples as their normal ski boat.

I know a couple of the people in this and didnt even know about the record.
I'll ask them what they did as far as the boat/boats.
